Encapsulating aids: Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) and vegesil.
We use a clean vege capsule made from plant cellulose.
Microcrystalline cellulose is a naturally derived plant binder. Vegesil a form of silica from rice. We use these in the smallest quantities possible in order to be able to encapsulate our ingredients. We have specifically done this in order to avoid the use of titanium dioxide, synthetic silicone dioxides and gums commonly found in other supplements.

How does Sandy help me get more time in the sun?
Here's the fun part. In a clinical study, our NutroxSun bumped up your skin's sun tolerance (basically how much sun it can take before it goes red) by about 15% at two weeks, 20% at one month and around 30% at two months. More tolerance means more time soaking it up before your skin taps out, which is more time for your glow to build. Just keep your sunscreen on, we're a supplement, not an SPF.
What even is "sun tolerance"?
Think of it as your skin's stamina in the sun. The lower it is, the quicker you go red and have to bail. Sandy helps build that stamina (about 30% more at two months in the study), so your skin can hang out in the sun longer instead of cutting your tan session short with a burn.
Does Sandy help me bounce back faster after a big day in the sun?
Sure does! In a 2025 study, that next-day redness was lower with NutroxSun than placebo (around 45% versus 63%) and had mostly calmed down by 72 hours, while the placebo crew were still glowing red. Faster recovery means less downtime and more good sun days in a row.
How long till I notice I can handle more sun?
Give it a few weeks. The tolerance built up over time in the research (roughly 15% at two weeks, 20% at one month, 30% at two months), so take it daily for 4 to 8 weeks and keep it going all year for the best of it.
I had a massive beach day, can I take extra?
Totally fine! If you've been out in the sun all day and feel like you want a bit more support than usual, go ahead and take an extra capsule that day. No need to keep doing it every day though, two a day is your normal groove. Treat the extra as an occasional top up for the big ones.
Does Sandy replace sunscreen?
No way. Sandy would never try to steal sunscreen's job. She's the one who shows up alongside your SPF, ready to join the party and add a little extra something to the routine. So keep your SPF in the mix and use it how you normally would, and let Sandy add the magic.
Can I take Sandy while pregnant?
